London’s most credible and exciting house, techno and disco night, PrettyUGLY, returns on Saturday 23rd March 2013 at Duke‘s in Aldgate, London, unveiling an incredible headline act, H2. The Manchester DJ/Producer duo who have a reputation for upbeat, raw house and techno music will deliver an unbelievable set beyond belief. With live support from the exclusive Casual Affair, PrettyUGLY presents a clubbing experience like no other.
PrettyUGLY yet again crafts up a line up formed of cutting edge underground talent to an ever growing loyal fan base. Having organically grown a reputation for original dance music that’s unique in style, PrettyUGLY’s night will be soaked with influences ranging from 80’s disco, unusual deep house records to current techno.
DJ duo H2, will make a rare appearance on the London clubbing scene that is sure to excite the most devoted of followers. Fast becoming one of the biggest upcoming acts in the UK today, H2 boasts support from the likes of Maceo Plex, Anthea & Celler, Edu Imbernon and many more! With international acclaim for their jaunty house beats and original work, PrettyUGLY is sure to be overwhelmed with an extraordinary set.
Providing support for H2, comes from a special collaboration project between PrettyUGLY resident Ollie Gibson and Andrew Brown - named ‘Casual Affair’ (Sleazy Deep). The pair have teamed up to produce their self-titled E.P, ’Casual Affairs’ that’s due for release in March 2013. With remixes from the likes of Max Chapman, Tapesh, Balcazar & Sordo, Raffa FL and Rob Made, Casual Affair will exclusively play their material only at PrettyUGLY. Expect live seductive vocals, analog basslines and down tempo beats. London regular Robert Charles will then join Ollie behind the decks for what is becoming an all too familiar DJ partnership spearheading the PrettyUGLY team. Both will combine effortlessly for an authentic flawless house and disco sound, setting the party far apart from it’s nearest equivalent.
Elsewhere in the night, sees the PrettyUGLY residents serve up an unrivalled taste in underground indie tech disco. Lewis James & Billy Manning (Mutant Disco/Black Plastic), Martina and Rem Kingston will all fuse a contemporary feel of electronic music with an energetic vibe. Hosted in the newly refurbished Duke’s, once known as the legendary T/BR - PrettyUGLY proudly stages another relentless party that’s genuine in style.
