For the past 5 years, festival attendees have traveled from around the world to participate in this forward thinking cultural experience. CMKY 2013 is designed to refocus on the fundamentals that have been at the core of the organization since its inception. Scheduled to take place from April 25th – 28th in Boulder, CO, this year’s festival features an eclectic array of artists from across the musical spectrum.
CMKY is thrilled to host artists from some of the most respected labels operating today, including Drag City, Spectral Sound, BPitch Control, Thrill Jockey, Full Spectrum and basic_sounds. A label residency from Nicolas Jaar’s Clown & Sunset imprint will serve as the cornerstone of the 6th edition's program; plus, last but certainly not least, we are honored to host the first festival billing of Redshape in North America.
In addition to our musical offerings, CMKY 2013 program will feature a screening of Resident Advisor’s Real Scenes series, which is a collection of short documentaries profiling electronic music communities around the world; as well as a special edition of the ongoing you & me performance series.
Festival passes and individual showcase tickets are on sale now at our website: www.cmky.us/tickets. There is a very limited number of passes, and participants are encouraged to purchase one early. It will guarantee access to pass holder only events or an article of CMKY merchandise. At only $100, the pass is the best way to experience the entire festival. Pass and hotel packages are also available.
