Secretsundaze with Sven Weisemann, Amir Alexander, Giles Smith & James Priestley

  • After an amazing start to the summer season, with two hugely successful parties at Studio 338 in Greenwich and the fantastic Oval Space, we return with Sven Weisemann, Amir Alexander, James Priestley and Giles Smith. Relocating the event to Oval Space from the terrace at Hackney Marshes Centre – due to a change in policy at the venue – we're very happy to once again be ruling the roost at Oval Space, as part of a joint event with Oval Space Music who have invited Laid Records to host the terrace at the venue – so the party has got even bigger. Laid Records is a label that’s been a feature in both Giles Smith and James Priestley's boxes over the years – and even had a track included on the ‘10 Years of secretsundaze’ compilation. On top of existing secretsundaze guests Amir Alexander (Vanguard Sound) and Sven Weisemann (Mojuba), expect Laid's finest in the shape of label boss Dor – who hails from Tel Aviv and was drafted in by Lawrence from Dial to run the imprint; Lowtec – owner and producer on the outstanding Workshop label; and finally Dial records co-founder, producer and DJ Carsten Jost. And as usual secretsundaze's residents Giles Smith and James Priestley will be on hand. We're confident that, with Oval Space's two stunning terraces, Ginger Pig BBQ and superb facilities and all-round ambience, it is the perfect replacement venue for this party. And anyone who came to our last party in May will know how much the venue went off.
