RE CREATE is re inventing techno in one of the world's hotspots for club culture. London is coming back, better and stronger with some truly prolific events. To coincide with this, Skyline Type Grooves & Kombination Research have teamed up to bring to the city an event which is not only re creating something missed, but pushing things forward and re creating something new. It's evolution. It's techno.

Advent – a coming, or an arrival; a coming into being or use. Quite an appropriate name for Cisco Ferreira, a man who has played a big part in the creation and development of Techno from the very beginning of this genre’s history. Indeed, his Techno CV is the stuff of legend. Cisco was producing Techno and performing live Techno shows years before the rest of the world had even heard of the genre. He released his first track in 1988, was a pioneer of the Live PA (or Live Public Address – performing Techno live in front of an audience using electronic music gear), and, if all that wasn’t enough, he even worked as the sound engineer on some of Derrick May’s, Adonis & Fingers Inc’s recording sessions!
The list goes on, and so does Cisco. Unlike other Techno pioneers from the early years, Cisco continues to produce with as much passion and frequency as he did back in the day. His releases on Labels Like Tresor, Rotation, Electrix, Kanzleramt, Dj Gigolos, Pure Plastic, Synewave plus many more is just another example of his ongoing pursuit to keep making music and pushing Techno to new boundaries.

Since the start of the 90s, the former East Londoner, now Norfolk based Mark Broom has always been a name synonymous with the UK electronic music scene.
A truly prolific artist, he has a myriad of production credits to is name having worked with world renowned labels such as Mo-Wax, Warp, R&S, Soma, Ifach (with Baby Ford), Bpitch Control, Platzhirsch, Rotary Cocktail, Material and more recently 2020Vision plus Saved, Cocoon, Blueprint and his own label Beard Man.
He has also had the pleasure of reworking material from artists such as Dubfire, Edit Select, F.U.S.E, Dj 3000, Alan Fitzpatrick. Mark has had a string of high class releases over the last 12 months, highlights being the Acclaimed SQ18 EP on Cocoon, M28 EP on Gynoid Audio, Vault 5 for Ostugut and a new project with James Ruskin as ” The Fear Ratio.

Sasha Carassi is one of those artists who exudes the air of a seasoned veteran, but this is not just because of the years he has been making noise in the industry; it's his unparalleled skill and work ethic that places him in such a revered position.
2010 was a seminal year for Sasha, as he managed to rise above the flux of producers hailing from his native Napoli. By leaving his mark on labels such as Drumcode, Harthouse, Sleaze, Respekt, 8 Sided Dice and many others, he established himself firmly in the world of serious Techno which nods slyly to the dark side.

Jason Fernandes has an eclectic release history which has been turning heads in the scene and has already spanned through out labels such as Drumcode, H-Productions, Excentric Muzik, Kombination Research, Phobiq & his very own Skyline Type Grooves & Subfigure imprints.
This new and focused contemporary musician is breaking through with already an impressive array of productions to his name. Providing a unique and fresh sound, his music has gained numerous supporters worldwide. The Fernandes sound could be described as deep as much as it is driving and powerful. 2013 looks to be another year of strong momentum and progression on a new wave of electronic artistry.

Hugo Paixao was born in Lisbon in 1981 and moved to London at the age of 5. He was always into Electronic music from a young age, Coming from a musically inclined family in the performance sector installed the importance of music as a creative outlet and a higher state of communication. At the age of sixteen he did two weeks work experience with Cisco Ferreira (The Advent) and realised what he wanted to achieve. Which led him to study sound engineering and music technology at City of Westminster College, Paddington, making him proficient in music programmes. After leaving college Hugo Was working on all different genres from Hip Hop, House, Chilled Out, Electronica and then finally finding his way to techno. His Techno is described as Dark, Hypnotic with a strong kick and bass It will blow your socks off! . He has had a variety of amazing artists remix his tracks like Cari Lekebusch, Sasha Carassi, The Advent And Industrialyzer, Toms Hades, And Many more who also support and play his stuff. In 2010 Hugo formed a joint label with The Advent and Jason Fernandes called Skyline Type Grooves which has grown into a recognised Label. Hugo has also been featured on labels such as Kombination Research, Phobiq, Naked Lunch, Impact Mechanics, Slap Jaxx and list goes on.
