In 2007 Mo Morris formed the trio A Mountain Of One, giving the cosmic disco movement its desperately needed fresh perspective, transplanting it into a dream world of progressive rock, Americana and pastoral folk. After two celebrated long player trips, the collaborative ship sunk but allowed Morris and bass player Merrick Adams to captain a new direction with ZSOU. With their heavy voodoo percussion and analogue twists, the duo celebrate the ritual of dance and hypnotic states. Issuing a double A side on luxury culture hub LN-CC, the release shoots a technicolor ecstasy rush to the soul and saw DJ support from Dr Dunks, Tim Sweeney and Kenji Takimi. ZSOU have also have remixed the legendary Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music). As a DJ, Mo Morris unfolds his wild imagination with deep, brooding sets of future-past. A communal experience!
