On April 10th, dance music supremo Carl Cox returns for an exclusive night at Heaven. His first UK club date in 3 years will see Carl joined by a stellar cast, handpicked by the man himself. Coxy has also ensured that ticket prices are kept at the lowest possible price, to create an even better vibe on the night.
Carl Cox on his return to Heaven:
“I’m really looking forward to coming back to London after a 3 year leave, travelling the world and flying the British flag. I’ll be bringing back to the dancefloor all the music I was able to get my hands on and it’s going to be something special. The last time I was at Heaven was amazing and I truly cannot wait to do it all over again.”
Maintaining the eclectic music concept made famous at his infamous parties at Space, Ibiza,
joining Carl in the main room is his good friend from Holland, Michel de Hey, hotly tipped protégé and Vandit/Intec recording artist Jon Rundell, plus further guests to be announced, whilst tearing Australian D&B stars Pendulum play a DJ set in the Star Bar alongside breaks dons Meat Katie and Breakfastaz. London hero and one third of X-Press 2, Ashley Beedle, will be offering his usual selection of all things deep, black and dancefloor friendly whilst Carl’s Italian Space residents Angels of Love take over the Dakota Bar.
This year, Carl has been busy globe-trotting, taking in venues across the USA, South America, Europe and the Far East, and has just finished a massive tour down-under including the Big Day Out Festival. He’ll be hitting Miami for the Winter Music Conference, joined at Ultrafest by Moby, David Guetta and Fedde Le Grand, and continuing his tour thereafter. Carl’s ‘Global’ radio show has just reached over 5 million listeners and is now broadcast across 24 countries worldwide, making him one of the most important broadcasters on the planet.
Later this year look out a forthcoming DVD on Coxy, which is an insight into the DJ’s life, following him on his travels around the world, with interviews from friends, family and industry figures along the way. The DVD will feature a full set recorded live from this year’s WMC and promises to be an absolute must for all dance music fans. Carl will also be headlining the SW4 Festival on Clapham Common, on Saturday August 23rd and look out for Carl’s highly anticipated third artist album - watch this space for more news.
