He’s quoting BowWowWow, specifically the song ‘C30, C60, C90, Go’, a thirty year old tribal punk-pop ode to home-taping. He sits back in the swivel chair at the sound desk of his Dutch Radio Studio, a sharply designed black and chrome space fleshed out with quirky visual flourishes. BowWowWow came up because he’s talking about his vinyl fetishism, the smell of 12”s in record shops, yet he hasn’t used the format professionally in eight years. http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/daveclarke http://www.daveclarke.com/ https://www.facebook.com/DJDaveClarke?fref=ts ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: MATTHIAS TANZMANN (DE, Moon Harbour) Matthias Tanzmann started his DJ and production career in the mid nineties in Leipzig, playing regularly at the renowned club ‘Distillery’. These early days saw his first release as 'Gamat 3000' (with Daniel Scholz) on Dessous Recordings, which was quickly followed by releases on Freude Am Tanzen, Lo-Fi Stereo and FM Musik. http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/matthiastanzmann/ https://www.facebook.com/matthiastanzmann?fref=ts http://www.moonharbour.com/ ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: HERMANEZ (BE, Aella) There are those who become stars du jour overnight, who enjoy their time in the limelight, before just as easily slipping back into obscurity. Then there are those who gradually ascend through the echelons of electronic music, tirelessly honing their craft and taste-making skills to perfection, until arriving onto the public consciousness to stay. Hermanez aspires to the latter, which becomes clear as the forthcoming months begin to unfold.aspires to the latter, which becomes clear as the forthcoming months begin to unfold. http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/hermanez/ https://www.facebook.com/Hermanezzz?fref=ts http://www.aella-music.com/ :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: KR!Z (BE, Token) Kr!z always had a strong sympathy for the more gloomy, dark, rawer sound of techno. Artists like Jeff Mills, Surgeon & James Ruskin had a major influence on him in the 90ies. They helped to define his musical taste and develop his own identity in the techno scene. Kr!z still has a big love for hip hop, which has left it’s mark in his technical dj style: fast & tight mixing, properly dosed with cuts & scratches. Being a respected & established value in Belgium for a decade and a resident-dj for Belgium's legendary techno night 'Kozzmozz', his dj-schedule now takes him all over the world. http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/kr-z http://www.facebook.com/Krztoken http://www.facebook.com/tokenrecords
