I'm very pleased to announce our first guest of all Chelmsford based producers at our April Soundcloud Meetup on the 18th - Nick Humphrey.
Nick has been heavily involved in House Music since the young age of 11. Over 14 years have passed and the love for House still stays strong.
Since dipping his toes into the world of House Music, he has produced hundreds of tracks, many being signed to some of the world's most prolific Dance labels, including Mentor, Bush and Apt International.
Backed by some very prestigious DJ's, Nick has had success with an array of projects, including a number of original tracks produced with Joe Brunning. His work has had the support of some big names in House music, including Carl Cox, Trevor Rockcliffe and Pezzner.
In 2010, Nick launched his own record label: Lifted Digital, specialising in an assortment of Deep/Tech House and Techno records. The label celebrated it's 10th release in early 2012 and continues to sign artists around the globe, ensuring this amazing House Music scene is kept alive and continues to thrive.
Nick's signature recipe for music is simple - warmth and funk.

Ian Cheshire's (Kube72 & one half of D00sh) latest techno guise has become one of our regulars @ meetup. His new jams "The Big Boss", "Slam Bam" & "Rebate" being released on Subsensory Recordings and more forthcoming on Endemic Digital, with Slam, Carl Cox and DVS1 all bringing his sound to their sets.
Quality big room techno...Ian will also be joining us again in April.

A founder member of the formidable NITZER EBB and champion of his own standout techno sound.
The EBB had many tracks remixed by every one and their dog, from George Clinton to William Orbit and their unique sound put them way ahead of their game.
More recently, after many months of hard work, David is very pleased to announce he will be releasing for his long serving friend, Mr C, on the relaunched Superfreq imprint (which undoubtedly is going to be a game changer this year in itself!) and is looking forward to his awesome first release “Momo” on the label at the end of March as part of a four artist digital only EP.
Next on the agenda is an EP released on Affie Yusuf’s new label, Laila Music, also in March.
David has moved through life listening to all forms of music, normally reverting back to his roots in the electronic world.
His current project is with Simon Granger, (STARK) produced around several genre's; David writes & produces with additional composition. & art by Simon.
Also in the process is the creation of a new label STARKfutures, and enjoying all the shenanigans that go along with the process.
This hour long, LIVE show is a pre-cursor to a promising year for David and I am honoured that this will be the first time his arrangement for his new STARK show will be played, at our night, as the first of many live gigs for him in 2013.
He is very much a testament to what our nights are all about.
Expect a groove of wonky, twisted electronic music and a whole lot more….one definately not to be missed!!!

Travel...if coming by train, The Loop is a 5 minute walk from Chelmsford Rail Station...the last train London bound is approx 23.25 & Colchester bound is around 00.30
