DINKY (CHILE) **DEBUT**
Inheritor of the diminutive nickname before she was even born, Alejandra Iglesias has grown her stature the old- fashioned way, with focus and determination and, of course, killer DJ skills and a catalog filled with classic, game-changing tracks. A multi-instrumentalist and singer, she plays classical guitar, piano and is trained in classical singing.
Born and raised in Santiago, Dinky is a leading member of Chile's second generation of electronic-music greats. Caught up in the musical revolution started by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Dandy Jack and Atom, she taught
herself to mix records but it was in New York, where she had moved in the mid '90s to join the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, that Dinky's career began to take off, as she immersed herself in the city's vital underground scene of the day.
OLIVER DEUTSCHMANN (GER) **DEBUT**
Firmly established in the underground, Berlin based DJ,
producer and label owner Oliver Deutschmann kicks off
2013 with lots of hype surrounding his debut album that is
slated for release in March on his imprint, vidab. A
permanent fixture at Panorama Bar for over 4 years with
his dubby, House beats and old school drums driving
intense peaks along with modern dramatics into his sets,
he's known for translating real emotion and atmosphere
into his bold, crisp productions that are resonant with inimitable hypnotizing effects.
ZIG ZACH (SG)
He first honed his DJ skills in the gym where he worked when he was 18 and what started as a hobby soon became a passion alongside his Muay Thai training and fighting. Soon taking his penchant for House and Techno outside of the gym, he started DJing at house parties and was later invited to play with some of Singapore's finest DJ's Godwin P, Brendon P, Keishi (Juice 2004 Winner) EJ Miss
A madcap season of parties for musical zealots
Taking 2012's Super 0 parties up another notch, the Super 0 Season is not just another party for them dancefloor shufflers but aims to kickstart an alternative movement and push the already stirring 'underground' scene into action. Beat-bopping and fist-pumping killa moves to equally terrific-some music are expected but it's not just about the tunes, it is also about all things nice. Marrying the cousins called art & design & multi-media throughout the events, this ‘awesome threesome’ will be laid out in splendid display throughout the debauchery during the saner hours.
Music mavens, art aficionados, design devils and multi-media mavericks are all welcome, just no flannel tops for its essential to keep cool. And for those clever cats seeking a little more self-nourishment, music workshops and exclusive popovers to neighboring art galleries are encouraged as party starters.
*Door: No slippers/ flip flops, its a warehouse party but it don't mean you can come shabby.
