- Goldfish, The Mile High Club & Paul strange presents LAMANEX Saturday 6th April Throughout the Sydney Club Scene, when they see the names “Lamanex” on the line up, everyone comes out of retirement. Synonymous for their quality production and sound, partners and co-founders Toby Neal & Illya head up the successful duo which is Lamanex. Forming in 2004, it didn’t take long before their music was felt around the dance floors worldwide. Releasing EP’s on labels such as “The Sound Republics, Spatula City Records and on Matt Shrewd & Jay West’s label “Flavour Recordings”. Individually both Toby and Illya have careers that any upcoming or established DJ could only dream about. Having held residencies at some of the biggest clubs in Sydney, plus notable Interstate guest residencies throughout their careers. Known for their technicality, skill and energy, with their forces combined their sets and performances are nothing short of amazing. Having opened for and supported the who’s who in the industry alongside the likes of Roger Sanchez, Derrick Carter, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, Darren Emerson, Erick Morillo and many more industry heavy weights. Lamanex are back by popular demand and perform at Goldfish with a stellar local line up.
