Maria Minerva:
Maria Juur grew up in Tallinn, Estonia where she began freelancing as an art and music critic. It was there her first music project mariaUNDmaria started with her friend Maria Arusoo, quickly becoming a local lo-fi favorite. In 2010 she moved to london permanently to study at Goldsmiths College and intern for The Wire Magazine. In 2011, she signed to LA’s Not Not Fun Records and released her debut cassette “Tallinn at Dawn.” Her “The Integration LP” was released last summer as a collaboration with label-mate LA Vampires, again on Not Not Fun. Maria has been featured in the Guardian, the NME, Uncut, Vice Magazine, The Wire Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Vogue, Pitchfork and countless other publications. Maria’s Bless EP will be released April 2nd.
