- Last summer W.A.R! was crowned one of the 'best new nights in the Balearics' after introducing an incredible mix of the most influential and exciting names in electronic music to the famous Rocks stage. This year we're going even bigger! Already teaming up forward-thinking station Rinse FM this summer for three massive shows we're also proud to announce that this August the phenomenal Black Butter Records will take over the Ibiza Rocks Hotel for a night to remember at W.A.R! Established only back in 2010 the multi award winning indepedent label has gone on to become the go to place for all things grime, DnB, garage and more by launching the careers of some of the UK's brightest new talent. Headlining this special W.A.R! x Black Butter takeover are probably the labels biggest breakthrough stars Rudimental. Comprising songwriters and producers Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden and Amir Amor, together with DJ Locksmith, these guys are on a mission to put the soul back into electronic music. With fans like The XX, Zane Lowe and many others the group are fast building a reputation as the go-to production team working recently with the likes of Angel Haze, Alex Clare and Ella Eyre on their second number 1 smash 'Waiting All Night'. No strangers to the Rocks after their massive shows last year on the back of tune of the summer 'Feel the Love' we can't wait to see what they bring to the party this year alongside up and coming label mates Gorgon City ft Yasmin, Scrufizzer and of course Rocks Resident Doorly.
