- After the sold out Party at Relay in March, we return to repeat what was an unforgettable night!! iLLusions of House & Release London are very excited to announce our next instalment of the "Presents..." series. Joining us for this party in a world famous venue we have never used before are.... Wildkats (Akbal/ Get Physical / Hot Creations) Pulling influences from 80s Funk and New York Disco they began to develop their sound; an energetic combination of groove led house and dubby disco with their trademark Wildkat baseline. Inspired by the new wave of contemporary house music fusing 80s drums, synths and bass sounds, Wildkats have put their own stamp on this with their catchy edits and raw dance floor killers. They have released tracks on some of the biggest labels in dance music including Get Physical, OFF Recordings and Hot Waves. Since their inception their tracks have caught the attention of some of the biggest names in the dance music community with support coming from Hot Natured, Wolf + Lamb, Crosstown Rebels, Lee Curtiss, Droog, Jamie Jones, M A N I K and Soul Clap. All of which have tried and tested these across some of the globes most proliphic dance floors from Sonar to Burning Man, Glastonbury and Ibiza's mecca DC10. Digitaria (Hot Creations) Brazilian duo Digitaria get set to ‘Shine’ even brighter with a highly anticipated second EP for the one and only Hot Creations. A potent mix of sweetly sensual vocals and dreamy electro pop with a kick for the floor, the ‘Shine’ EP is backed by a pair of exceptional remixes courtesy of cosmic icon Morgan Geist and on-point breakthrough artist of 2012, wAFF. Digitaria is the project formed by Daniela Caldellas and Daniel Albinati, on the sunny shores of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Seducing Latin America and beyond since 2004 with their blend of romantic electro pop, the duo met Jamie Jones one steamy night in 2012 and soon got the Hot Creations boss hooked on their sound. Tracks passed over soon after became the Digitaria/Funkyfat ‘Masochist EP’, a subsequent summer hit, and the rest is history. First release of 2013 was collaboration with the Adana Twins ‘Reaction’ on Jeudi Records, and the Hot Creations ‘Shine EP’ is sure to further mark the duo as a global force of nature. Watch out for the forthcoming album on Hot Creations later this year! Mark Jenkyns (Hot Creations) Although, from South Shields, England it is from the White Isle of Ibiza that Mark pulls his main musical influences having first visited there almost 10 years ago. His natural understanding of the dancefloor coupled with his impulsive methods to spark it into action have enabled him to garner a reputation as both a forward thinking producer and immersive DJ. Mark has had a series of well received releases on Hot Creations and spin-off label Hot Waves, as well as plenty of appearances behind the decks alongside the usual Hot Creations suspects. Dirty Channels (Defected/Hot Waves/Culprit) Italian based DJs and producers Dirty Channels are Simone & Leme. They started working together in the early 2008 when, after a long period as single DJs, they discovered a great musical feeling and decided to join forces. Dirty Channels recently released for renowned labels like Jamie Jones' Hot Waves / Hot Creations, Josh Wink's Ovum and the LA based Culprit. Being heavily inspired by a lot of artists, Dirty Channels tracks are a unique mix of deep old school house, Detroit techno, disco influenced jams, and classic grooves. The variety of musical influences turns into an eclectic DJ set, never dull with a great charge perceived and loved by the dancefloor. Martin Ikin aka Soul Purpose (Defected/OFF Recordings) Soul Purpose AKA Martin Ikin has been DJ’ing and Producing music since 1990. Signed to Defected records in 1991 and Spending all his adult life from the age of 17 releasing records on many labels, under many names and accumulating a surprising list of classics along the way. After over 10 years of releasing music on 3rd party labels, Martin launched his own label – Soul Purpose Records in 2003, as a stable for his own productions. With artists such as Juliet Roberts, Elisabeth Troy, Angie Brown, Mary Pearce & Bryan Chambers joining the camp straight away and letting the music do the talking, Soul Purpose Records has now built a reputation for quality house music with numerous chart Number 1's under its belt and is going from strength to strength. Jason Lee Ward (Release London/Selektor Music) Building up his following with over 2 years of his solid weekly show on world renowned house music radio station Select UK and having played main stage at some of London's top venues including Pacha, Village Underground, XOYO, Cable & Relay, Hidden, Proud2, Plan B to name a few and has also been very busy in the studio producing unreleased tracks the first to come out on Miguel Migs's Salted Music and his first Release 'Broken Record" out now on Selektor Music peaking at number 20 on the Traxsource Top 100 House tracks in its first week of release and was also featured as track number 3 on Traxsource's in house compilation "Nu Garage, Where Deep Meets Garage" and was number 3 on the February 11th House Essential 20 chart also featuring on the Beatport recommendations. His unique style of mixing deep, tech, jackin infused sounds with elements of latin percussion influenced from jazz funk & US house and garage is definitely something to listen out for.
