- Life and Death returns to Detroit on Sunday May 26, 2013 at St. Andrews Hall. St. Andrews Hall was constructed in 1907 (right at the beginning of the increasing economic boom of the city). This was a historic meeting site for the St. Andrew's Scottish Society of Detroit. This iconic venue is a favorite of Detroiters young and old. The Detroit building's from the flyer are inspired from one of the most stunning collections of pre-depression architecture in the world. The past two decades have seen several of these treasures sit vacant, waiting for economic revival. Life and Death wants to celebrate the culture of the city, reviving memories of the local scenery just as the Life and Death party did towards iconic character Emiliano Zapata at the BPM festival in Playa...
