We’d like to invite you to the UK’s Best New Festival (UK Festival Awards). Bring your friends, family and eccentric side, and join us for the second year of Festival No.6. We have created an intimate, bespoke banquet of music, arts and culture in the most incredible festival site you will ever see. Festival No.6 takes place over the weekend of 13-15 September in Portmeirion, Wales; home of the cult TV series The Prisoner.
Our main stage is a Mediterranean-inspired fantasy coastal village, and the sea, mountains and forests are our perimeter fences. Portmeirion is much more than a beautiful backdrop however. During the festival the village and the surrounding woods come alive as a unique series of inspiring venues, hosting everything from intimate performances from iconic bands to amazing installations, surreal street theatre and impromptu interactive happenings, all woven together to create a magical environment that you can totally immerse yourself in.
The musical bill at Festival No.6 is a unique mix of iconic legends, the freshest up and coming bands and a stunning DJ line-up, Plus a few special guests. Last year’s headliners were so inspired by the location they all put on some incredible shows. New Order walked away with Best Headline Performance at the UK Festival Awards while The Guardian and GQ raved about Primal Scream "rattling off career-vaulting hits" in a set inspiring "musical revolution".
In and around the village, unique venues like the Piazza, Town Hall, Estuary Stage and the magical Gwllyt woods play home to a range of bespoke performances from acts as diverse as Caitlin Moran, Andrew Weatherall and the Brythoniad Welsh Male Choir. This year we're teaming up with our friends including Faber Social and Caught By The River to curate an even more impressive set of unique performances. Portmeirion will come alive with intimate talks,
film screenings, comedy, art trails through the woods, pop up theatre and much more.
