PInk Skull, Julian Grefe and Justin Geller have been working together for the best part of a decade now releasing a string of singles and albums that have gained the Pink Skull name a hallowed respect. The duo’s shared love of early disco and primitive electronic music has been instrumental in forging their sound and ensured that their take on things is always far from predictable. Now Grefe & Geller have joined forces with Joe Lentini (Schematic) for their latest offerings released by the Toronto based My Favorite Robot Records, the label that has stormed its way through 2012 with music from the likes of Jori Hulkkonen. Fairmont, Sasse, Tom Demac & Tiger Stripes. As Well as NY based Throne of Blood, sdding to their already impressive roster.

Joe Lentini (Live)(Schematic)
Joe Lentini grew up in the grip of Philadelphia's Center City, discovering things most grid-kids do, like which streets circumvent the winter wind and how to get in under age. Most importantly, as a precocious teen in an underground scene, he discovered music in its electronic form, and following the logic of the (circuit) grid to its conclusion, began work in a studio setting, moving quickly to production. Since then, the world's opened wide with a slew of deftly produced (and cleverly titled) releases on Schematic-512 Max Health, Tit Licker, Pink Pussy Popsicle, 13 track LP Status in the Ballroom and the yet to drop vinyl EP VIGILATA. Aside from making music under his own name, Joe has currently worked with Pink Skull on their last 12' releases on My Favorite Robot and Throne of Blood.

Shawn Ryan (Hurrah / Super Prince / Gazebo edits)(Phila)
SHAWN RYAN is a Philadelphia based record collector & DJ. He recently celebrated the 7th anniversary of Hurrah, a monthly dance party featuring a blend of top shelf disco and house music. He is part of Universal Cave, another monthly event dedicated to forward, deep & free vinyl discoveries. Shawn is also half of the production duo Superprince, along with Jeffrey Levi Fry. Superprince recently released a remix of San Francisco's SyntheTigers on Moulton Music, and have tracks coming out on Hotbox Music & Young Robots Records this summer. Since 2007, Shawn has been running Dollar Bin Jams, a blog dedicated to preserving vinyl obscurities.

The Magic Message DJs (Phila)
THE MAGIC MESSAGE are Philly DJs Jeffrey Bouchard & Sean Hearn. Throwing one of Philly's best underground parties for over three years now, the two have maintained the classic disco/house sounds by incorporating records of current production and mixing with classic dancefloor hits of the late 70s and 80s. The two throw the long-standing disco party at Philly’s highly energized subterranean club, Medusa Lounge, and have also pushed the envelope of the late night underground Philly scene by DJing their bi-monthly ETC party that outlets more of the duo’s acid house and techno records. Jeffrey and Sean have recently been taking the show on the road and were featured at several events at Brooklyn’s Kinfolk Studios as well as last year’s Movement afterparty, Menergy. They have hosted a slew of great national and international talent back in Philly including Morgan Geist, Social Disco Club, Justin Strauss, Marvin & Guy and many more.
