Fresh off their sell out world tour as two thirds of Swedish House Mafia, and with a No. 1 single and album under their belt, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso have now confirmed they will be coming together to bring a new concept to Ibiza this summer.
We begin with the excitement of arriving at DEP/\RT\/RES, ticket in hand, the euphoria of leaving behind the everyday and letting go… It’s a vacation, an adventure, a story for your friends not yet told. This is the feeling of DEP/\RT\/RES as you approach us and we welcome you to our world.
It's then you realise you are not alone… All those on-board enter through the door and join a tribe, a society, who see DEP/\RT\/RES not as a night out but as a gathering of people. People tied together by love, by freedom, by adventure, by happiness, by the beat of the drum, where the native tongue is the body language of dancing … together.
Whilst DEP/\RT\/RES can often be sad occasions, they are in this case the beginning of a journey we will all take together, under the moonlight, the stars and the planes passing overhead, which form the set design in the sky of one the best venues in the world….Ushuaia.
DEP/\RT\/RES begins 19th June and returns every Wednesday until it touches down for the final time on the 11th September.
Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso have asked a number of their close friends to help them make the soundtrack and expect to see a lot of them on weeks when they are not booked as the stage becomes a party of everyone who has committed to the journey. Expect the stage to be as crazy as the dance floor!
Joining their new tribe will be some old friends alongside new faces… Alesso, Anthony Atalla, Dirty South, John Martin, Marco Lys, NO_ID, Otto Knows, Style of Eye, Thomas Gold, Tommy Trash, Zedd, with more to be announced….
