WARSNARE emerges from the creative melting pot that is New Cross, carving out a unique sound from the remains of pop culture. Having produced soundtracks for award-winning short films and AV installations, as well as an arsenal of releases on Shades (Eris EP) and Starkey and Dev 79s Seclusiasis (Brutalist EP) WARSNARE, aka Dan Potter, produces music impossible to pin down.
An unabashed blurring of the cinematic and the downright woozy, his work combines shards of disembodied R&B, footwork, House, Old School, Garage and whatever else takes his fancy. With a slew of new tracks currently in the works, WARSNARE is set to release a remix for Bad Taste Records and feature on the forthcoming Friends Are Electric Compilation on Future Followers Records, both in May.
Expanding on his AV stronghold, 2013 will also see WARSNARE hooking back up with ‘Brutalist’ video collaborators Visitor Studio for a 5.1 film soundtrack due later in the year. Ahead of this WARSNARE will be bringing his genre defying DJ sets to the following locations, with a US tour to be announced

Luxar
Luxar is London-based DJ/Producer Tom Oke. After creating levels for the DJ HEro videogames, where he was a Lead Remixer, Tom started Luxar as an output for original productions. He draws from many influences including Disco, House and Soundtracks, combining samples and sound design elements with a definite nod to the sonic palette of the 80s. Luxar has released an EP on Lyon's Juicy records, remixes for Fanny Games and Vanguard, and runs the 'Club Luxar' night in London's Brixton.
