It is with equal measures of excitement and sadness that we bring you details of this week’s closing party. Excitement as we see this closing party as possibly the biggest and best we have thrown yet! And sadness as it will mark the end of a magical summer of amazing music, new friends and best of all... our awesome Colony - you guys! We have been totally overwhelmed by your support of the course of the season and the atmosphere that we have been able to create every Saturday has been our biggest asset, we can’t do that without our Colony!
Our resident ONNO will be laying down the grooves as the sun shines down on Ushuaïa Ibiza. Los Suruba also bid our fans a fond farewell and sign off for the season in their usual madcap way.
We are privileged to announce that Just Be will be joining the celebrations. Perhaps known better to many as Bushwacka, the UK’s long standing hero has been pushing boundaries within the scene for three decades, playing his house and techno to packed dancefloors the world over.
Reboot takes his deserved place on our closing party line up. The German has played a pivotal role in our debut season, and our colony has made no secret of their love for him! Fellow German Timo Maas also returns to complete his two dates for ANTS, acting as a musical bookend of our season as he plays both the opening and closing parties in our first year. Good to have you back Timo!
As we worked hard to gather the best possible line up for our farewell party, we just had to do whatever it took to secure the services of our next guest. Deetron is riding at the very crest of the biggest house music wave right now and his previous sets at Ushuaïa Ibiza have been the stuff of legend.
If there was one DJ that has personified the ambience of ANTS during our debut run in Ibiza, it would with no doubt be Andrea Oliva. He is the living representation of what we are all about, so who better to bring the curtain down on this unbelievable experience? We are pretty sure that as he takes to the main stage, he will put his heart and soul into making the closing set something that each and every one of you will remember forever.
This may be the end of our first season in Ibiza, but it the beginning of the exciting times that lay ahead as we plan an even bigger and better invasion for 2014. Join the Colony!
