- Loose Audio hits London on Friday 21st June at Bells of Shoreditch, London. Our debut London party will be taking place in the arches of Bells of Shoreditch, The space has brickwork arches, hidden seating alcoves, and whilst cavernous, still remains an intimate environment. Its location offers good transport routes with Liverpool Street, Old Street, Haggerston and Shoreditch High Street stations, all being within close proximity. We are happy to have down the talents of: MARK WELLS (Purp & Soul / Nurvous / Alive) After 7 years of producing, since the age of 13, Mark Wells has found steady ground with successful releases on Nurvous, Alive Recordings and Purp & Soul. Low swinging drums and masterfully placed vocals consistently create his trademark sound. Infectious rhythm and hard hitting bass lines make sure his music stands out from the crowd, his recent release 'In She Came' generating a lot of fans with it's hypnotic lead and vocal. Many labels worldwide have already been in demand for remix work from this young UK talent. His ability to create a stand out song is impeccable, his DJ sets mirror his production with energetic performances guaranteed to keep a dance floor moving. In 2012, Mark cut his teeth remixing UK bands 'Kid British' and 'We Humans', proving once again his versatility and creativity. Part of the Purp & Soul family since their inception, Mark is expected to have a big 2013. and JOUHL (My Favourite Robot / Purp & Soul) Joel Wilson AKA Jouhl is one of the most promising young talents of the underground house scene in the musically cultured city of Manchester. In 2012 ‘Jouhl’ was also confirmed as a member of the growing ‘Purp & Soul’ team that under the direction of good friend and label owner ‘Chris Farnworth’ are continuing to create a buzz across the underground house scene. Jouhl is a rising talent that cannot be ignored. Jouhl resides on the darker side of the roster, electronic and rolling, his music has been quickly snapped up by iconic label 'My Favourite Robot'. Journeys regularly drift into Techno and Electronica, haunting synths flutter around sparse drum hooks. Despite his trademark production style, Jouhl's DJ sets are diverse and always energetic. His recent track captures Invader music's head honcho and Murkage vocalist, Gaika into an eerie late night affair with a driving sub, the almost spoken hook will no doubt be caught in your mind. 2013 promises to be a year of moving forward, his recent release on Akbal 'Spend It All' a sign of things to come, Jouhl has a lot of talent and is poised ready to use it.
