New York-based Drew Cyrus Lustman aka FaltyDL has a unique sound rooted in house and bass music but wandering far and wide. With a career flirting with dub and techno, frequently led by searching, experimental jazz background, get ready for a deep, sumptuous, and emotionally engaging set for your dancing pleasure.

About FaltyDL On the one hand, the 26-year-old one-time sushi chef grew up playing piano and upright bass in jazz and classical groups, and cites Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, Squarepusher and Weather Report as life-changing influences; on the other, he loves clubs, loves to dance, and considers hip hop, house, jungle and UK garage to be as important as any of those virtuoso musicians. His last album,Hardcourage, was co-released on January 21, 2013 through Ninja Tune and his own record label, Blueberry Records.
An in-demand remixer, he has made versions for notable acts such as Seun Kuti, Mount Kimbie, Alice Russell, The XX, Scuba, Photek, Anthony Shake Shakir and others. Drew still has the yen to make wild jungle, and one day maybe he’ll end up back in smoky jazz clubs.
