• Dresscode: It’s not what you wear, it’s who you are. Pre Party: 8pm til 11pm. Sounds Heavenly @ River Bar, Maidstone. Let There Be House with Nic Fanciulli Paul Woolford (Back to Basics) Sam Ball The Scratch Lounge with Louis Edwards DJ Tang Phat Kev ClubClass Party Info: Coming off the back of last months sensational party, featuring Tribal Sessions Greg Vickers, Original Scratch Pervert Mr Thing, and the full quota of our all-star residents, it’s with great excitement that we look forward to another session of serious underground shenanigans at ClubClass, in what will be our final party at The Loft in 2004. In December we present the long awaited debut of headline guest Paul Woolford; the brilliant Back to Basics resident and outstanding producer under the moniker Bobby Peru. Wooly’s energetic, bass driven sound will fit in brilliantly with that early morning moment at The Loft, and the fact that his production work has received support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Andrew Weatherall, and Derrick Carter, means we’re definitely in line for something very special. It will also be the first time Paul has played in Maidstone so we wait with baited breath to hear what he has in store for everyone… Joining Paul in the Let There Be House Room is of course residents Nic Fanciulli and Sam Ball. Before last months party Nic was busy abroad headlining Zouk in Singapore, playing alongside Deep Dish at the Amsterdam Dance Exhibition, and taking on the responsibility of closing Pacha in Ibiza. However we feel it’s safe to say he saved his best performance for his hometown residency at the November event with one of the finest sets he’s ever delivered at ClubClass. Lets hope he provides us all with another session of the filthiest, acid fuelled house currently on offer. Completing the house room lineup is Sam Ball who moves into December with a guest set lined up at Godskitchen in Birmingham, and a major role confirmed for our New Years Eve Party at River. His hunger and passion for dance music is as strong today as it’s ever been, and this is evident in the intensity of every set he’s playing at present. Make sure you arrive early on the 4th to check him out, and see for yourself what the fuss is all about. Finally downstairs in The Scratch Lounge we are delighted to announce the return to ClubClass for Louis Edwards. As many of you well know Louis was victorious in the Cream X10 Mini Disc Competition in 2002 beating off the likes of Demi in the process. Since then he’s played across the world, but only recently has he been busy working in the studio alongside our resident DJ Tang. Together these two will be showcasing some of their new material which is said to be a hybrid of hip hop and house with some breakbeat thrown in for good measure. This should be VERY interesting indeed!! Warming up proceedings in the Scratch Lounge is the superb former UK DMC finalist Phat Kev, in what will be his 4th appearance thus far for ClubClass. With this being our final party at The Loft in 2004, we hope you will all join us so we can send off what has been a magnificent year for everyone at ClubClass. Memorable moments at The Loft must include the debuts of Morillo, Westwood, Justin Robertson and Audio Bullys, the awesome returns to ClubClass of Steve Lawler and Danny Howells, and the consistently brilliant performances of our outstanding residents; Nic Fanciulli, Sam Ball and DJ Tang. And with the December lineup boasting these three alongside Louis and Wooly, we’re confident the next ClubClass will again set the standards for quality underground dance music in Kent, but more than anything result in one hell of a party! See you on the 4th, ClubClass.
