- This event is part of the London Contemporary Music Festival (25th July - 4th August), held at Peckham multi-storey car park as part of the Bold Tendencies summer programme. Our second Saturday brings together six decades of electronic music at its radical, visceral best: from early tape works to today's cutting edge producers. In the first half we celebrate the work of iconic electroacoustic composer Bernard Parmegiani, whose monumental tape pieces are cited as a major influence by contemporary artists from Autechre to Sonic Youth. In the second half, London-based duo Raime draw selections from some of the music that has inspired their intense sound palette, before the car park resounds to the clattering, stuttering beats and metallic textures of SND, seminal collaborative project of Mark Fell and Mat Steel.
