En 2012, celle-ci célébrait son 25e anniversaire avec une série d'événements à guichets fermés aux Amsterdam Dance Event et Miami Winter Music Conference. Cet été, Def Mix débarque au Vieux-Port pour une Autre performance signée des plus grands noms de l'industrie. Pour l'occasion, le Godfather de la house et maître incontesté du remix Frankie Knuckles partagera les platines avec l'iconique DJ-producteur David Morales, l'incontournable Hector Romero ainsi que la dernière recrue de la célèbre écurie New-Yorkaise et plus grand DJ house du Brésil, DJ Memê, qui profitera également de la fête pour signer sa première performance au Canada.
