Over stateside, Lunar Disko will be hosting two of New York's most popular DJ's and producer's in the form of DJ Speculator aka Willie Burns, and DJ Chupacabras aka Jeremy Rodriquez. Anybody familiar with the electronic music scene in NYC will need no introduction to these two guys...
DJ Speculator aka Willie Burns aka Grackle, has been turning heads over the years with releases on Bunker, Strange Life, L.I.E.S, Echovolt, and Creme Organization. His label, W.T. Records has been going from strength to strength since its inception in 2009, which includes established and up and coming artists from the U.S and beyond. His productions and record label are big favourites at LDHQ, so we're delighted to have Speculator spin his favourite records @ Lunar Disko...
DJ Chupacabras, a former resident at Barcelona’s Nitsa club who’s played everywhere from Detroit to Berlin. Chupacabras most recently held things down as a resident of the Fender Bender weekly with Speculator. Lately, he’s been putting out some excellent remixes with his longtime pal JDH for the likes of Lemonade and Little Boots, with lots more on the way. His DJ sets include everything from Italo, electro, Chicago, and Detroit killers....which will no doubt fit in perfectly at a Lunar Disko party!
Flying the flag for the Irish will be Lunar Disko resident Barry Donovan, and Cian Coburn from the Breakfast Club...responsible for keeping many a session going over the last few years in Dublin!
