Owen Howells
Dj/producer, co founder of the label Shades (formerly known as Shades of Grey) and resident for Apogee, Owen Howells has been making some serious moves in the London party scene. Having recently returned from a US tour and being billed for Fabric, this guy knows how to please a dance floor. Behind the decks this wax loving dj travels through deep and soulful house to classic techno to lesser known vinyl, providing a unique yet spot-on blend, sure to have you hooked.
Resident Advisor:
'Closing out is Owen Howells' "The Door." It's a dubby effort that
works with heavy, reversed sonics and a looped chord pattern,
quickening the pulse through bell hits, mumbled words and subtle manipulation of its elements that weave a hypnotic spell.'
