--VENUE CHANGE--
We're sad to tell you that we haven't been granted our license for the
courtyard of Cable Street Studios for our opening party this Sunday.
However, on the positive side, the police and authorities have given us the verbal go-ahead for future parties there for the rest of our summer and our next party with Rhadoo on 25th May will still go ahead as planned.
Fortunately we had a 'plan b' and instead of taking the party inside, we are able to move this Sunday's party to another brand new location for us, which wont disappoint. It's a venue we already have dates for for the rest of the summer but we wanted to keep it as a surprise. Very much in keeping with our knack of unearthing familiar surrounds and putting them to their best use, we will be taking over another courtyard, this time in the more central location of SE1. For the first time ever for the space, we will be holding secretsundaze here on Sunday and a series of parties throughout the summer on the Courtyard / Terrace of Ministry of Sound. Usually occupied by security, metal detectors and burger vans, we will be completely clearing the space, making way for a perfectly shaped al fresco party space. With it's white washed walls and generous greenery along the exterior fence, the setting here definitely has a 'Balearic' feel to it and we see it almost as our 'jewel in the crown' for summer 2008. Make your way to the arches to the rear for your secretsundaze sense of discovery..
As there is another event there that night, we are slightly altering our
opening times to 1-9pm - so make sure you arrive on time for the action. The afterparty moves also - 2 minutes walk around the corner, to the dramatic main room of the Coronet, where we held our Easter party and as those of you who were there will know, quite how special that room is when it's full of nice people dancing to groovy music under one roof.. Tickets are still available for this via Ticketweb and will also be available during the day and on the door.

Sunday 4th May sees the always hugely anticipated secretsundaze opening party at a brand new outdoor location and with an absolutely smoking line up! In keeping with our habit of utilising unused sites in familiar surroundings, after last years hugely successful parties on the Terrace at Canvas, we hold our opening party in the Courtyard of Cable Street Studio's. This open air space should be perfect and we think will have the vibe of a bigger version of the Poet with the locked in feel experienced with the high walled surroundings.
Making their UK debut set we have the MOUNTAIN PEOPLE. Made up of Serafin and Andre Rozzo aka Peter Dildo this Swiss DJ tag team have caused a constant buzz over the last year or 2 with their simple and effective club tools which have a distinctly unpolished sound. Also guesting will be none other than Wagon Repair hotshot THE MOLE. With his album about to drop this guy is bound to blow up with his loopy and party influenced sound which has secretsundaze stamped all over it. With an after party at Unit 7 next door this is the perfect way to start the summer. See you there.
