  • Louche is back! As ever, a warm welcome to peeps of Leeds old and new, we hope you've had a fabulous summer like us. Over our 6 years of running parties in this town we've booked everyone from Nicolas Jaar to Omar S, from Moodymann to Seth Troxler, from Zip to Ben UFO and beyond. We've met some amazing friends and forged unforgettable good times and memories. So it saddens us to say, that this season will be our last; we're moving on in search of new discos and adventures. We can't say thanks enough to the people who have contributed and danced with us over the years, you've made the Louche Experience as enjoyable and interesting as we could of hoped for. So from now until January 2014 we will be doing what we've always done best. Booking top class DJs to spin at Mint Club, to the lovely crowd that we've always been proud to call our own. We've invited some of our favourites to help us see it out in style. So here's one last call to old and new school Louche heads, come and join us one last time. It was December 2010 in Berlin when we first saw Fred P play, and he's been a firm favourite ever since. His 6 hour set in Panorama Bar that day was soulful, hypnotic and unforgettably deep. One of the best sets we've ever heard, and one which really influenced us in bringing Louche to where it is now. So we thought it highly fitting that we invited Fred back to Mint Club again, for what will be his third appearance for us. Seeing as the countdown is on to our last party in Leeds, Fred was always gonna be included. Fred's more than just a great House and Techno DJ though. His notable releases on Esperanza and Mule Electronic over the years, plus his tougher escapades under moniker Black Jazz Consortium on Deep Explorer, set him amongst some of New York's very best producers. Expect an extended set from the New Yorker, we can't wait!
