It was the next step in the evolution of the one of the best music venues in the UK. The awe-inspiring Napoleonic Fortress – The Tunnel.
Many months of work, planning and preparation are now coming to fruition as we announce that the Disc Over launch party will be taking place on Friday October 25th for a Halloween special @ The Tunnel, Chatham, Kent. As with previous Halloween events @ The Tunnel expect to see some of the craziest fancy dress outfits you are ever likely to see!
Disc Over Music is the band new record label launching from Tim Green. An evolution in a career that has seen Tim release with labels such as Cocoon, Get Physical & Dirtybird, winning awards, recording BBC Radio1 Essential mixes as well as touring every corner of the globe amassing an army of fans. The time was right to unleash a brand that showcased the full palette of Tims musical tastes. With it comes a brand new ‘live show’ which will be making its Kent debut. Expect to hear Tim destroy The Tunnel with some of his biggest and unreleased bombs all pieced together live and on the fly, whilst bringing live vocals to the fore. This will be unforgettable!
We are extremely excited to be welcoming Dixon to headline our launch party as he makes his debut appearance in Kent. Without doubt Dixon is one of the most special, and in demand djs on the planet. However it has taken over 2 decades to reach this point. First learning his craft in the clubs of Berlin in the early 90’s, to setting up the now world famous Innervisions Recordings, to producing highly acclaimed remixes for artists like Disclosure, The XX, Underworld & Little Dragon to name a few. Dixon is the real deal when it comes to providing special moments on the dancefloor, hence why year he was voted number 3 in RA’s their annual ‘top 100 djs poll’.
Luca Lozano will be familiar to those who have followed underground house music over the past 2 years, his killer productions and infamous label Klasse Recordings have gained major recognition. With their massive single ‘Drownd’ coming out on Disc Over Music in October we thought it was only right to welcome Luca Lozano to play a very special back 2 back set with Mr. Ho. This promises to be very special. Rounding things off, we have 2 djs we consider to be amongst the best resident djs in the UK. Alex Kilby & Mark Derry will be opening the room and getting the party started in true Tunnel fashion.
