To celebrate our 1st year of partying we bring you a special line up featuring two headline acts, one Manchester debut, a 10 year celebration, jelly & ice-cream (tbc) and all powered by a thumping Function One sound system.
Making the short hop over the water from Northern Ireland is Deep City Groove. A fresh and exciting new light on the electronic music scene the Belfast lad is already making waves with a string of releases on Toolroom, Assembly Records, Static Audio, Extended Play, Natural Rhythm, SK Supreme and TUG Recordings. With these productions he has quickly gained the support from some of electronic music's biggest players, such as Solomun, Laurent Garnier, Maceo Plex, James Zabiela, Slam, Oliver $, and DJ Sneak. As his moniker suggests, expect some stunning deep grooves on this Manchester Debut!
Joining Deep City Groove on the night is Mancunian Al Bradley who braved a move across the Pennines & now resides in Leeds. In 2003 Al, alongside Guy Williams, launched the excellent 3am Recordings, and now in 2013 has been touring far and wide to celebrate a fantastic 10 Years of output from the label, a feat not to be sniffed at. The most notable of these gigs was a recent appearance at Fabric where the label took over hosting duties in Room 3 of the legendary London venue. Over the years 3am has had the support of DJs from across the globe, including Silicone Soul, Funk D’Void, Hernan Cattaneo, H-Foundation, Paul Woolford, Rob Da Bank & many more, cultivating a soundscape of releases with an emphasis on deep tech house sounds. We are privileged that Al has decided to bring his special celebrations to our birthday party!
