- Bugged Out enters its twentieth year celebrating their 19th birthday on November 23rd with a multi-room extravaganza at Fire. The show is headlined by Maya Jane Coles who burst on to the house scene in 2010 with flame orange hair and a unique vision fully realised in her debut album ‘Comfort’ this summer. Heidi joined us at Bugged Out this time last year and played one of the best sets of 2012, with her Jackathon nights and releases she curates and pulls together the true spirits of house and techno always with an eye on the party and her hands never too far from a Prince record. Heidi released a Jackathon 12” last summer with Maya and Miss Kittin and we’ve been trying to get all three ladies together since. Tonight we realise that with special guest Miss Kittin joining the bill in the main room. Kittin has been a part of the Bugged Out family since she stole the show back in 2001. A regular fixture at our nights at The End she also compiled one of our Bugged Out Mix albums in 2006 and returned to the fray this year with her album Calling From The Stars. Get down early to find out why Eli & Fur are causing a hot fuss with tracks like You’re So High and Brendan Long, a Bugged Out regular since 1998. Blond:Ish head up the retina dazzling Lightbox, our favourite Canucks since Tiga and Peaches, the duo are brilliant unique DJs with productions on most of the notable labels from Kompakt to Get Physical. Ben Pearce – so far the only other boy on the bill – has had another brilliant year following on from the success of 2012’s What I Might Do with releases on his label Purp & Soul and ubiquitous remix of Le Youth ‘Cool’. More artists are still to be announced.
