The Hydra: Erased Tapes with Nils Frahm, Kiasmos & Rival Consoles

  • Erased Tapes is known for crossing musical styles and have now teamed with The Hydra to showcase a more electronic side of their contemporary classical composers Nils Frahm and Ólafur Arnalds, with the addition of the label's electronic artist Rival Consoles. Following on from Nils's much talked about Boiler Room set, he will once again create a unique live electronic infused set, using analogue and semi acoustic instruments, such as the Fender Rhodes and Juno. Kiasmos, the electronic project of popular Neo Classical artist Ólafur Arnalds, with Bloodgroup front member Janus Rasmussen, will fill the room with their cool Icelandic techno. Rival Consoles, the synth wizard will bring to his live set the moog, tape delay and prophet, to close a special night on October 18th at Village Underground.
