Huey Morgan is seen as somewhat of a rock ‘n’ roll Renaissance Man, the half Puerto Rican / Irish New Yorker who, since moving to London in the mid-2000s, has become a charismatic presence across the UK’s cultural spectrum. Former frontman of rock/hip hop band the Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Morgan performs both vocals, face-melting guitar and combines rock, hip hop, jazz, reggae, and funk influences in his music and DJ sets.
In October 2008 Morgan began hosting his own radio show, “The Huey Show” on BBC Radio 6 Music. Showcasing the past, present and future of music genres featuring a wide range of guests, from the likes of Mala, Ty, Alice Russell or Jose James.
