Soweso & We Dig. Music present Paul Ritch, Daniel Stefanik, Kabale und Liebe, Lauhaus, Jef K

  • KABALE UND LIEBE AND LAUHAUS HOST SOWESO AND WE DIG. MUSIC PRESENT DURING ADE. On Thursday October 17, Kabale und Liebe and Lauhaus, the founding fathers of Dutch imprints Soweso and We Dig. Music, host a special Amsterdam Dance Event party at the brand new Beat Club in the centre of Amsterdam. They present you a killer, festival worthy line-up consisting of both label artists and friends of the label. Make sure you don’t miss out on this one! At the moment the location is being re-built and will have a new, state of the art Avalon sound system by EAW that's only been fitted and tested at the Delano in Miami and 1Oak in Las Vegas. Beat Club will be the first club in Europe to showcase this Soundsystem. The brand new location will be the perfect environment for this 8 hour-long dance marathon. With a capacity of 600, divided over two rooms, the club has the perfect size for an intimate night out. It’s also the Dutch base of Be-At.TV, so you can follow the event via a live-stream on their website. First name on the line-up is none other than Paul Ritch, who will perform a liveset. As the labelboss of Quarts Records, the techno heavyweight puts forward minimalistic techno sounds that are blunt, sharp and energetic. He is a regular at events such as Awakenings and Time Warp and doesn’t often play the smaller clubs, which makes this a great opportunity to hear his music in a more intimate setting. Daniel Stefanik, who recently released his album ‘Confidence’ on Cocoon, will also be present. His always impressive and energetic sets range from house to techno and everything in between. Jef K and Chris Carrier, both friends of the label, will do a special back-2-back set on October 17. Chris Carrier released timeless EP ‘Logic Sunrise’ on Soweso in 2011. It’s been over a year since he last played in Amsterdam, so it was about time to bring him back. And whoever was there to witness Jef K play on the sold out Soweso label night last year, knows he's not to be missed! Bart Skils, the driving force behind Voltt Festival, has been a constant factor in the Dutch techno scene for over a decade and his latest releases on labels such as Drumcode haven’t gone unnoticed. Anton Pieete, or Hitmeister Anton as his friends call him, has been very active in the studio lately. This paid off in the form of some killer releases on Joris Voorn’s label Rejected. Bjorn Wolf is responsible for the massive dancefloor hit, ‘Iz Diz Houz’ on We Dig. Music. The track was remixed by Butch, Coyu and Agaric and supported by many heavyweights in the scene. Two of the biggest talents Amsterdam has to offer, Tom Ruijg and Efdé, will also do a back-2-back set. They have proven themselves to be two of the most promising producers around and both artists will release an EP on Soweso in the near future. Olene Kadar, known for his deep but groovy live sets, which he will also perform on October 17. The night will be closed by Kabale und Liebe and Lauhaus. They’ll make sure the night transfers smoothly into the morning, as they will play till at least 7 AM. With a cream of the crop line-up, that offers something for everyone, there’s no reason not to drop by at Beat Club.
