With an incredible Funktion One soundsystem and a strong crew of residents our launch party is the perfect intimate setting to showcase this stellar lineup!
To kick start our new party hitting Manchester we offer a limited capacity showcase of two heavyweight artists, Goldffinch coming straight over from Belgium and Preston’s own Taneli plus support from Gymnasium favourites Bastian, Arstepz and New Division!!

Goldffinch
The Belgium based duo of Goldffinch have quickly ascended from the status of new comer to become fully fledged stalwarts within the techno scene. Their groove based techno and interesting use of vocal samples have seen the duo release on everyone from Numbers, Audio Culture and Dirty Bird right through to their most recent ep ‘The Light Comes’ seeing a release on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings. With copious support by everyone from Jackmaster and Loefah right through to Midland, Goldffinch’s presence on the scene has been quite rightly earned. With a string of pure fire releases and DJ sets that feature huge exclusives and a vibe that can’t be beat, Gymnasium can’t wait to bring Goldffimch over from Brussels to showcase them for an exclusive extended set!!!

Taneli
Taneli has quietly pushed himself to the forefront of the scene and is definitely one of the most interesting artists of 2013. With influences that include San Soda and Move D it’s clear that his sound has evolved to push the deeper and more groove based sounds of house. With an incredible release forthcoming on Transmission Collective and of course his collaboration with ETML – ‘Bind Me’ seeing massive support, Taneli is killing it currently and it’s a pleasure to see what he has on offer for Gymnasium, we reckon his set will give you a work out!!!

Bastian
As the head honcho of Shadow City and Commune in Birmingham, Bastian has supported everyone from Bicep and Breach through to Cassy, and with a residency for Face also under his belt and DJ sets at Soundwave festival in Croatia, Bastian is quickly making his mark on the house scene. Expect a mixture of classic house and techno cuts mixed with plenty of exclusives too!
