- After 3 fantastic parties in London over the past year, Flux has decided to opt for a more intimate affair this time round, transforming the Yard Theatre into a 275 capacity space fit for an up close and personal DJ masterclass. Joining us will be legendary hell-raiser Dr. San Proper, who will be playing an extended set to ensure the crowd really get to see what he's all about. Support will be provided by faithful Flux residents Jacques Adda and Robert Cary. Artists / San Proper is a infamous figure from the Amsterdam underground club scene. Over the last fifteen years, he has been spinning and playing live from major clubs and festivals to smaller bars and dodgy underground locations. He’s known and praised for his House & Disco sets, but also skilled in blending different styles from Acid to Afro-beat into an eclectic mix. Since 2009 he has been performing & presenting an acclaimed solo live show, with chanted vocals and playing several live instruments alongside his hard- ware and digital gear. As an Amsterdam local, San Proper works closely with fresh and genuine labels and organizations like Rush Hour, Dekmantel and Trouw. All are known for setting the tone for quality underground music and scenery by supporting local talent and paying tribute to house and techno legends. San Proper is known for his frenetic energy behind the decks, and his passion comes across most potently with the vocal extras which he serves up during Dj-sets. As a touring artist he has chosen to keep playing at a variety of parties, from major to local events, spreading his diverse sets across legendary spots in Tokyo, Osaka, Montreal, Shanghai, San Diego, Detroit, London, Copenhagen, Sofia, Zurich, Berlin and Paris, the latter in which he has spent a lot of sessions completing his album for Rush Hour.
