Jay Shepheard (Compost, DE) Terranova (Kompakt, DE) - Leeds debut Krystal Klear (MadTech, UK) Voyeur (Madtech, UK) **IMPORTANT** We regretfully have to announce that we have received news that Todd Terje's wife has very prematurely gone into labour and consequently he will not be able to perform at the Geodome tonight. We are sorry that Terje won't be joining us, but family must come first at times like this and we wish him the best of luck. We will be looking to get him back to Leeds for a replacement event in the new year, and all ticket-holders for tonight will have priority access to early bird tickets for that when it happens. Fortunately we have been lucky enough to secure a first-rate replacement lineup at very short notice, with two additional top-quality performers making the trip to Leeds to play alongside Kompakt's Terranova. Joining us will be the universally acclaimed Jay Shepheard, flying in from Berlin specially for Flux, and Leeds favourite, Krystal Klear. Everything's now looking set for tonight, see you at the front! • After the tight-knit intimacy of Full Circle we will be switching things up, offering you a night in Leeds' newest and most ambitious party setting, the world's first ever Geodome at Control, a huge mesmerising skeletal framework with thousands of individually controllable LED's. We are very excited to announce that joining us for this event will be Norwegian powerhouse Todd Terje, in what could well be his last DJ set in the North for a long time as he looks to new projects going into 2014. Support will come from Kompakt's finest, Terranova, who will be making their Leeds debut. Artists / Being born in rural Norway is not the most likely start for a globally renowned music producer. Terje Olsen AKA Todd Terje went to the local music school with hopes of becoming a jazz pianist, but the occasional snippets of dance music being played on local radio were enough to lend some diversity to his musical tastes. Terje quickly went on to carve a considerable reputation of his own, gaining plaudits for his Eurodans release as well as wonderfully adept remixes of classic tracks on labels such as Permanent Vacation and Soul Jazz. Terje's 'Ragysh EP' on Running Back catapulted him to notoriety in 2011, featuring universally on track of the year lists and garnering rave reviews. Terje's own label, Smalltown Supersound launched with his own 'It's The Arps EP', which featured the now legendary 'Inspector Norse', cementing Terje's status as a worldwide star. The recent release of 'Strandbar', collaborations with Franz Ferdinand, Bryan Ferry and Lindstrom, as well as his Essential Mix, have only enhanced Terje's reputation as a top quality producer and a top-class DJ. We are very excited to welcome him back to Leeds. Terranova is an electronic dance music duo composed of Fetisch and &ME, based between Berlin and Paris. Between those cities you will find a lot of music that they have had a stake in. Growing up between Brussels, London and New York, with a strong sense of punk and yet coming from a hip hop perspective, Fetisch spent his teenage nights at New York's legendary Mudd Club, Roxy and Paradise Garage. His career was launched spinning records at NY mainstays Danceteria and Tunnel, followed by an infamous first recording "Axis" in 1990 with the Stereo MCs released on Geest/Warlock Records. He also could be regularly found DJing at illegal warehouse parties and at London's infamous Wag Club. Having moved back to Berlin in the mid '90's, Fetisch formed Terranova in 1996 as a project with shifting members and various vocalists to create a blend of electronica, house, hip-hop and punk. Terranova's first compilation was released as a part of the now legendary !K7 DJ Kicks series, and they stayed with the label, releasing the massively acclaimed 1999 debut album "Close The Door", recorded at Connie Planck's Cologne studio. After teaming up with &ME (the Ghanian DJ and founder of Keinemusik) in 2007, he signed with the famous imprint Kompakt from Cologne, the secret capital of German electronica. As well as a slew of acclaimed productions, Terranova's recent Flux podcast showed their serious skills behind the decks. We are privileged to welcome them for their Leeds debut.
