This month it's birthday time and we're celebrating with parties in London, Leeds & Berlin. Louche has now been in the game for over 6 years, and we've got a lineup that we're delighted with to help us celebrate. We welcome Moodymann, Jane Fitz & Arnaldo for the evening.
Who better to play at your birthday than Kenny Dixon Jr? Probably the best out and out party DJ going, Kenny's diverse selections, swagger on the mic, extended entourage and general aura make him totally unique. Based in his hometown of Detroit he's been doing his thing since the early 90's, writing a mouth watering catalogue of music for his label KDJ amongst many others. We booked Moody back in March 2012 and we've never experienced atmosphere like it at any party we've thrown. It's gonna be a pleasure to welcome him back.
Jane Fitz has steadily gained herself a reputation as one of the UK's best underground selectors. Most known for her involvement at Free Rotation Festival, Jane also runs London based party Night Moves and hosts a long running weekly radio broadcast on myhouseyourhouse.net. We've witnessed her impeccable selections first hand on many occasions and look forward to welcoming a true DJ's DJ to our booth for the evening.
Born in Argentina, but raised in England, it was his time spent studying in Manchester where his musical awakening flourished; working at Eastern Bloc Records and also playing at the city's much loved Meandyou parties. Having just turned out a very accomplished podcast for our series, some of you may already be acquainted with his sounds, and surely will agree with us that this dude is one to watch!
So here it is… 6 years of Louche, London Edition. Moodymann, Jane Fitz and Arnaldo join Josh & Brinsley in the intimate space of Plan B. Party hats at the ready x
