  • The Dram House, formerly the GRV is Edinburgh's newest venue with 4 rooms each with own bar and completely new interior design, interlinked to the old Wilkie House. This large multi purpose venue is now party central in the capital. On the 23rd of November we have a special night with 2 clubs in the one building. In the Main Room we have Korrupt Disko who are very proud to have one of Edinburgh's finest DJ's - Huggy Huggy is one of Scotland’s leading DJ’s with a track record second to none and as a producer has released over 100 records on some of the most respected record labels including the Ministry of Sound, Subliminal, Stealth, Cr2, Pacha Recordings and Hed Kandi and his remixing skills have seen him re-work over 50 tracks. With over a million+ youtube views on his releases his work is well respected and recognised worldwide. As a DJ Huggy has DJ’ed the world a few times over having DJ’ed at the Miami WMC on several occasions, having DJ’ed at Pacha in both Ibiza and London as well as Space, Privilege, Amnesia and travelling extensively across America, Asia and Europe. Experience-wise Huggy has DJ’ed with a who’s who of the world top 100 supporting Sasha, John Digweed, David Guetta, Axwell, Steve Angello, Erick Morillo, Tiesto, Axwell, Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong, Dubfire, Masters At Work, Laidback Luke, Paul Oakenfold, Chemical Brothers, Bob Sinclar and many many more. Huggy’s versatility is widely respected and was even immortalised as one of the selected few that have recorded an Essential Mix for Radio1. Starting off in the humble surroundings of Leith in Edinburgh Huggy was one of the first DJ's to really put Scottish clubbing on the map the infamous Burger Queen night was ranked right up there with Cream, Renaissance and Ministry of Sound through-out the 90's. At the start of 2000 Huggy made the break into Radio and was instrumental in bringing House music to the Scottish airwaves on Clyde 1 and Forth 1. With over 500,000 people tuning in to hear Huggy every Saturday night break all the newest House tracks in 2003 was nominated for a House Music Award. Huggy later made the switch to Beat106 on a Friday night Huggy regularly had more listeners in his backyard listening to him than Pete Tong as well holding down the clubbing column in the Daily Record interviewing the Superstars of clubland and highlighting local events and artists. In the studio as Burger Queen and in recent time with Dean Newton, Huggy’s tracks have been top ten hits on Beatport, Traxsource, Trackitdown and itunes for starters. ‘747’, Soul Roots’, ‘Pressure’, ‘Spectrum’ & more recently ‘So Right’ has been on the setlists for a massive amount of todays big acts. Also in the Bar we have 78 Edits, who is also from Edinburgh and has played worldwide dropping his own unique blend of disco edits. Support from Residents Housego and Den Mckervey Upstairs we have Edinburgh label Audiablo showcasing new tracks and talent, this month we have Mark Price who is very well know to the scene with many gigs at clubs like Taste and Fever, support from Diesel Slicks and Got Previous.
