ABOUT NUMBERS 10 —
In June 2003, a group of like-minded friends joined forces and started a club night called Numbers. The first night took place in a tiny back room of a Glasgow restaurant, where six people played including Jackmaster, Spencer and Actress. We had fun; it was busy so we did it again and again and again...
Fast forward 10 years of dancefloor riots and we're still doing it. Following the release of early music from Hudson Mohawke, Rustie, Night Slugs and friends, our first three record labels (Dress 2 Sweat, Stuffrecords and Wireblock) joined together in 2010 to become just one under our club’s name ‘Numbers’; we've released music from Jessie Ware, Jamie xx, more Rustie, SBTRKT, Redinho, Deadboy, and SOPHIE. We've played festivals and parties across the world, started our own weekender event called Pleasure Principle and broadcast regular radio shows on Rinse FM and BBC Radio 1.
We're going to mark this decade with events in New York, London and finally back where it all began - Glasgow. You know what to do...
