Operating in sonic territory that has no easily identifiable genre with musical gems released on labels like Rush Hour, Delsin, Clone, Frustrated Funk and his own experimental electronic label, Transcendent, he embarks on a world tour for his much-anticipated album, Kinetic Image due for release on Delsin Records on 4 November. With regular appearances at Rinse FM's relentlessly forward thinking underground music event, FWD, the mysterious DJ/producer is bent on spreading the good word when it comes to great music. 2013 saw the release of his debut outing on Scuba's Hotflush Recordings, and its seems to be no turning back since for the young artiste. MIKAIL (FUNKYZEIT, UK/PHILIPPINES) *DEBUT* ******************************************************* Mikail (Mikhail Schemm) was born in Hong Kong, raised in Rome and lived in London but it was his year-long Berlin sabbatical, where he worked for M_nus, Richie Hawtin's label that opened his mindeye into music. Revolving around House with a touch of old school, Chicago house, minimal and techno, he has a natural feel for the right track at the right moment something that even Jamie xx can attest to. With his latest gigs including being The xx’s exclusive Asia Tour DJ, Mikail relocated to Asia to help grow the scene in his native part of the world. ZIG ZACH (SG) ***************** Zig Zach, a professional Muay Thai fighter by day and a DJ by night, is known for his versatility playing anything from Deep house, Nu-Disco, Tech-House, and Techno. Playing regularly at top venues in Singapore and Bali, he has shared the decks with the likes of Felix Da Housecat, Dinky, Oliver Deutschmann, Amnesia Ibiza’s residents, Les Schmitz & Mar-T, Burning Man Festival’s Benjamin Alexander and more. Featured on popular radio stations like Sweat Lodge Radio (Berlin), Innervisions Radio (UK) & Proton Radio (US), his mixtapes have brought his sound across the globe. FFF GIRL DJ BOOTCAMP ft.
