Hailing from the veritable wellspring of Providence, Rhode Island, Container is the solo guise of Ren Schofield. As Container he constructs disrupted tectonics of heavy kick drums and snarling synthesisers. This is techno with a bent-edge and a palette refined through years of playing and releasing records. His most recent releases, on luminary label Spectrum Spools amongst others, secures Schofield at the peak of the modern wave of noisy techno being made in the US. His set promises to be one not to be missed by any fan of techno, noise or otherwise generally unique muzak.
Joining Container will be locals Matthew Brown (Detroit techno / Tasmania), Lakes (neo-Pagan downer punk) and Justin Fuller (disrupted techno / member of Zond, Tax, etc.).
