When you know the time is right to move on, it’s better to finish on a high and look for your next adventure. That’s exactly what we at WTF did. Our parties at Buddha Lounge have been the corner stone of Essex clubbing for a long time now. But just down the road, at the newly decked out Voodoo, we’ve found ourselves a new home of epic proportions. Set over two floors with a breath taking Funktion One sound system pumping throughout and state of the art lighting, it’s the perfect backdrop to showcase some of the industries most exciting talent.
Just like we flew the nest, so has our headliner, Last Magpie. But he doesn’t leave empty winged, he scoops up a few of his favourite dance floor gems, and swoops in to cause a right ruckus. Fresh off the back of monumental set at this years Hideout festival and track signings by the likes of Hypercolour and Drop…this fella can’t put a foot wrong at the moment.
As purveyors of good music old and new, downstairs will play host to none other than UK Garage Legend Masterstepz. Having graced the decks of pretty much every well reputed Garage rave, he deservedly retired to warmer climates in Dubai to live in his own Sun City. But as it us, and as he just can’t help himself…we’ve dragged (asked politely), him back to the UK for one night only.
So there we have it, one legend, one legend in the making and all under one roof.
