Familia’s ultimate outing of the 2013 is wrapped with all the festive enchantment one might expect. The key to the winter kingdom surely is found by unlocking some of the most sought after sounds on the planet and on 7th December the Family Music Party makes a promise to deliver just that.
Once again Mendo’s Clarisse Records brings us their unique flavour to the Terrace, playing alongside Cadenza’s Mendo this time will be Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts, famed for his live sets fusing House, Techno and Jazz inspired sounds, his production found of labels such as MusiqueRisque, Floppy Funk, Crosstown Rebels and Get Physical and Circus Company. From Clarisse – Berlin based Nakadia, currently known for being Asia’s most successful female DJ, releasing suitably supported tracks on Mendo’s label and gaining a reputation as a world class player Nakadia completes the Terrace floor Headliners.
The Ground Floor is lead by two shining lights of the Scene. Markantonio, a leading force of the international circuit who takes his Neapolitan sound and awe inspiring mixing skills far and wide playing the biggest events around the globe, it’s with great excitement we welcome Markantonio to Familia.
Mark Reeve makes a triumphant return to the venue with releases on Cocoon Drumcode, Intec, Elevate, Soma, Familia will most certainly be in safe hands with these ambassadors of Techno.
H2 take control of the Loft, with releases on Get Physical, Skint, Nervous and Cecille Records amongst many others we excited to catch the guys near the end of one if their most prolific years to date.
The Apothecary is ruled by Leading Astray, their head honcho Elek-Fun playing gigs all over Europe and busy running the prolific Leading Astray label they deliver a showcase that ensures the essence of their sound throughout.
Special guest Neiland from Barcelona's LeBako is a special guest bringing his sound to Egg London in a rare opportunity to hear him play.
Throughout the night the likes of Fabio Ferro (1605, Monique Toolroom), Nikos (Krush, Art of the Muse), Unai Trotti (Cartulis Day), JB, Varon V, Kyle E, Jack Francis, Jay Tempest, Fernando Hester b2b Giulio Etiope and Familia Promoter Nick Tcherniak ensure the musical flow, whilst the ever faithful Familia crowd now into their second year are all set for the brightest and surely most decadent way to celebrate the season.
