  • As a true stalwart of the capitals underground scene, Lee Brinx’s role as a London based DJ, producer, label owner and promoter has put him at the centre of an ever growing scene that, thanks to people like Brinx, is now starting to yield its influence the world over. Lee’s unfaltering love for underground electronic music has seen him explore many variations of the scene such is his lust for discovering new ideas, concepts and philosophies; forming a truly well rounded artist who’s penchant for garage grooves, deep beats, melodic basslines and warm and soulful exteriors has earned him releases on some of the worlds most respected labels in the world from the likes of Hotwaves and of course London’s very own off-centre House and Techno hub Leftroom. Releasing alongside his fellow curators of the Lower East label, the London based imprint boats not only the very best in homegrown talent but also some of the most exciting emerging talent the world has to offer. From the likes of London based artists Alexis Raphael, Wildkats, Robert James and Max Chapman to international stars from the likes of Puente & Rosche, Pezzner and Hot Creations main man Lee Foss, Lower East has made itself a pivotal establishment within the scene. Alongside Lee Brinx will be Irishman Gavin Herlihy, who is certainly a producer hitting his stride and an artist who has been stealthily gathering heat with previous productions gracing the likes some of the most impeccable imprints the world has to offer in the form of Cadenza, Get Physical, Cocoon and Leftroom as well as notching up gigs at some of Europes most exciting venues in the form of Berlin’s Panorama Bar, Watergate and Bar 25 during his former years spent honing his skills in the German capital. After breaking through onto the worldwide stage back in 2006 via his now infamous ‘Machine Ate My Homework’, being hailed by the likes of DJ Hell and Laurent Garnier, the Irishman has ceaselessly risen through the ranks to become an artist who’s can boast one of the most impressive musical CV’s in the game. Don’t miss out on a chance to see both of these hugely acclaimed grace the south coast when they pay a long overdue visit to Junk on the 14th December!
