- Crown Ruler presents: AWESOME TAPES FROM AFRICA (NYC) supported by The Shaolin Afronauts (Live) The world's greatest African music cassette archivist Brian Shimkovitz, AKA Awesome tapes from Africa, is headed back to Adelaide for a special show at Rocket Rooftop. Joining Awesome Tapes From Africa on the bill are Adelaide's own avante garde Afro-soul juggernauts Shaolin Afronauts fresh from wowing Audiences at the Australasian World Music Expo in Melbourne and DJ's Crown Ruler Soundsystem and Medhi. Schools out, summer has started so come and treat yourself to a tropical disco dance party to celebrate.
