Get Down Good has teamed up with Four Artists to bring one of Germany’s most innovative and original talents Daniel Bortz to London’s The Horse & Groom, for a one-off extended set.
Daniel Bortz has been producing intricate and emotion-laded house music since 2007, continually standing out from the crowd with both his instantly-recognisable productions and his considered DJ sets.
Ever popular in his native Germany, the Augsberg-bred purveyor of low-slung house music has seen his global profile steadily rise over the past few years however, due in no small part to his close connection with Berlin's Suol imprint. His debut studio LP Patchwork Memories was released on Suol back in October of this year, and featured appearances from singers Eva Gold and Nils Corßen - the latter having already appeared on a couple of Bortz's previous records on Suol - as well as some vocals from Bortz himself.
Well received across the electronic community, Bortz now brings the spirit of his album to London via an extended, all-night DJ set at Shoreditch’s The Horse & Groom.
The Horse & Groom is a well-established venue on London’s thriving party circuit, and this is a rare chance to see Bortz in an intimate environment. Given the entire night in which to showcase his unquestionable skills, you can expect to hear deep, evocative house, upbeat disco, considered techno and everything in between.
