Junk Department kicks off 2014 with Watergate Worldwide Affairs on March 8th at Factory 7 in Shoreditch.
Having spent the last two years hosting 5 sell-out warehouse events whilst leap frogging across the UK and Europe hosting various clubs and festival stages including ADE @ Studio 80 (Amsterdam), Fly Bermuda (Berlin), Zoo Project Festival, 2 years at Eastern Electrics, 2 years at Exit Festival (Serbia), Echo (Croatia), Isle Of Wight, Bugged Out Weekender and 3 monster parties at the infamous Sankeys in Ibiza, they’re extremely keen to present this line-up in London.
Focusing on Watergate album releasers the line-up for this party brings together a strong crop of DJs as versatile and dynamic as any other. Topping the bill are Berlin legends of tech-house Tiefschwarz alongside Visionquest's Lee Curtiss, both of whom will be making their first London showings for 2014. Watergate residents Marco Resmann and Ruede Hagelstein share the 3rd and 4th spots respectively. Having mixed the 14th edition of Watergate's compilation series, Ruede brings an exciting, forward-thinking edge to the party while the main man behind the famous brand Metro lies aptly at the foundations of the party.
In true Junk Department style to reflect the ethos "to put on the best parties in the world", the emphasis has been placed yet again on the club-goers experience with an incredible sound setup, top-level production and lighting – giving a strong case to contend 2012’s most talked about party when Junk Department hosted Watergate at Great Suffolk Street.
