FOUR YEARS!
ICEE HOT started in that teeny tiny room at 222 Hyde (R.I.P.) four years ago. So many of you have been there with us from the start, and we love your support and encouragement. We have loved this little party like our own baby. It has made us BUDDIES with each other and BUDDIES with you!
To celebrate, we are bringing you a special night in both rooms of Public Works, and we are bringing along lots of BUDDIES to share in the fun.
In the main room, your ICEE HOT BUDDIES will be joined by none other than LEVON VINCENT and JOEY ANDERSON. (Even better, Joey will be making his San Francisco debut.) Both of these guys made some amazing house music in 2013: Levon only had to put out one record this year to prove he is still the master, but Joey actually put out SIX massive 12”s that helped define an amazing palette all his own. Levon and Joey are also BUDDIES, so that works out, right?
In the loft, we will have a long set from FLOATING POINTS, one of the most famous diggers out there. With him at the controls, you can be sure that the loft will have some completely unpredictable and undeniably funky sounds presented in some of the most ingenious ways possible. How can we even prepare you for this?
Joining Floating Points in the loft will be some of our favorite BUDDIES from San Francisco: Jackie House and Jason Kendig of HONEY SOUNDSYSTEM. We love these DJs and we love HONEY.
