We’ve been ridiculously excited about this line-up since it was confirmed, and we’re very happy to be able to finally let the cat out of the bag.... For our third installment of OHM we’re going extra large with a night versus the rather splendid AUS MUSIC label. Headlined by DUSKY and WILL SAUL this one’s very tasty indeed.
AUS is run by someone who’s no stranger to Sheffield nightlife, WILL SAUL. Having DJed at the Urban Gorilla nights many times in the past he’s a man who knows a lot about a very broad spectrum of club music. Having run Simple Records he explored a more 4/4 angle with the AUS imprint. Deep techno, bassy tech house and layered synthy loveliness... it’s all there. The roster of Artists is immense, a who’s who of the cream of the techy end of the house spectrum. Past Ohm guests George Fitzgerald and Scuba, future guest Huxley as well as Deetron, Bicep, Martyn and Midland have all dropped tracks charted by DJ’s worldwide.
Headline act for this event DUSKY are also a major part of the AUS roster. Having released for them a few times the boys are on a major roll at the moment. 2013 saw them build a solid reputation for quailty tracks (Check out the Careless EP for a taster) and 2014 is set to see them rise further into the very top reaches of the club scene. Their productions certainly have that unique Dusky sound. Spaced out, deep grooves but always with that dancefloor punch. It’s guranteed you’ve heard a few of their tracks dropped at all the Ohm nights so far.
Will and Dusky playing on the same bill really is going to be a proper treat, no doubt Will’s going to be bringing with him some upfront tracks from the AUS 2014 release schedule. Absolute dancefloor destruction! To be able to bring them together in Sheffield for everyone has been something we’ve been working on for a long time, time to start counting down the days until March 15th....
